Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize incoming emergency and non-emergency calls.
- Dispatch law enforcement, fire, and medical units to the scene of incidents.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all calls and dispatches.
- Monitor police radio frequencies for unit status and officer safety.
- Provide critical information and instructions to field personnel and the public.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid California Class C Driver's License.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in typing and computer usage (MS Office suite).
- Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Pass a thorough background investigation and medical exam.
