Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned beats to deter and detect criminal activity and to preserve public peace.
- Respond to calls for service, including medical emergencies, domestic disputes, and traffic accidents.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for court proceedings and internal records.
- Conduct investigations of crimes and suspicious activities.
- Interact with citizens, businesses, and community groups to build trust and resolve conflicts.
- Enforce federal, state, and local laws and ordinances.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- U.S. Citizenship and residency requirements.
