Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state legislation and regulatory impacts using quantitative/qualitative methods
- Prepare concise policy briefs and executive summaries for senior leadership
- Coordinate cross-agency task forces on emerging public policy challenges
- Conduct stakeholder engagement with government officials, community leaders, and industry partners
- Monitor policy implementation effectiveness and recommend evidence-based adjustments
- Manage multiple concurrent projects with strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of policy analysis or government relations experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, or Stata)
- Demonstrated success in translating complex data into actionable policy recommendations
- Strong knowledge of Texas legislative processes and state agency structures
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Texas state security clearance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with executive-level experience
