Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health strategies aligned with CDC guidelines and local needs
- Manage community outreach programs focusing on preventive healthcare education
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy decisions
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, NGOs, and government agencies for resource alignment
- Oversee grant applications and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead emergency preparedness initiatives for public health crises
- Supervise program staff and evaluate performance metrics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years experience in public health program management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, ADA, and Title VI compliance
- Experience managing federal/state grants (SAM.gov registration required)
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
