Responsibilities
- Coordinate inter-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and execute emergency preparedness plans for Seattle metropolitan area
- Lead field deployments during public health incidents (e.g., disease outbreaks, natural disasters)
- Manage data collection and reporting for state emergency response systems
- Train community partners and healthcare providers on emergency protocols
- Ensure compliance with federal/state emergency management regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years experience in public health emergency response or crisis management
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300) or higher
- Proven ability to coordinate multi-agency responses under pressure
- Strong knowledge of Washington State emergency statutes
- Experience with emergency data management systems (e.g., Epi-Info)
- Valid Washington State driver's license
