Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and implement evacuation plans for vulnerable populations
- Manage distribution of medical supplies and emergency resources
- Conduct rapid needs assessments during disaster events
- Train community responders in emergency protocols
- Prepare situation reports for state and federal partners
- Update public health emergency plans quarterly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years of emergency response coordination experience
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300)
- Proficiency in GIS mapping for resource allocation
- Strong crisis communication skills
- Experience with federal grant reporting (FEMA, CDC)
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish preferred
