Responsibilities
- Develop evidence-based health policy recommendations for the Mayor and Council
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform public health interventions
- Coordinate interagency responses to emerging health threats
- Manage grant-funded health equity initiatives across 8 wards
- Prepare legislative briefings and testimony for public hearings
- Lead stakeholder engagement with underserved communities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Policy, or related field
- 3+ years policy analysis experience in government or healthcare
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Knowledge of DC's public health code and federal regulations
- Proven crisis management experience during public health emergencies
- Security clearance eligibility required
