Responsibilities
- Design and implement public health programs targeting Mesa's diverse communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and emerging threats
- Develop educational materials and community outreach strategies
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and local organizations on health initiatives
- Monitor program effectiveness and prepare detailed impact reports
- Advocate for evidence-based public health policies at city council meetings
- Manage grant applications and ensure compliance with funding requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Experience with grant writing and fund management
- Excellent communication skills for community engagement
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- Ability to work evenings/weekends for community events
