Responsibilities
- Analyze complex healthcare data to inform policy recommendations and legislative proposals
- Develop evidence-based strategies to address health disparities in underserved communities
- Coordinate interagency initiatives on maternal health, chronic disease prevention, and health equity
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and testimony for legislative hearings
- Manage stakeholder engagement with healthcare providers, community organizations, and advocacy groups
- Oversee program implementation and compliance with federal/state health regulations
- Lead cross-functional teams on special public health projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Health Policy, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or healthcare
- Expertise in health data analysis and quantitative research methodologies
- Proven success developing and implementing health equity initiatives
- Strong legislative knowledge of New York State healthcare systems
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish highly desirable
