Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health intervention programs
- Coordinate community outreach initiatives for underserved populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and priorities
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with state regulations
- Collaborate with local healthcare providers and community organizations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for state health officials and stakeholders
- Train public health staff on program protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Work, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program coordination
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and public health reporting requirements
- Experience managing federal/state grant-funded projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English/Spanish
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential preferred
