Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health education
- Coordinate with community partners and stakeholders to mobilize resources for health initiatives
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and prioritize interventions
- Develop grant proposals and manage program budgets to secure sustainable funding
- Create educational materials and conduct outreach campaigns for diverse populations
- Monitor program compliance with federal/state regulations and reporting requirements
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve public health objectives and community health goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program coordination or community health initiatives
- Knowledge of CDC guidelines, Healthy People 2030 objectives, and Florida public health regulations
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in health informatics systems
- Experience developing grant proposals and managing federal/state funding
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage diverse communities
- Valid Florida driver's license and ability to travel to community sites
