Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Manage $2M+ annual budgets and oversee grant-funded initiatives
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships with healthcare providers, NGOs, and tribal communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and prioritize interventions
- Lead crisis response efforts during public health emergencies
- Supervise cross-functional teams of health professionals and community outreach specialists
- Prepare reports for City Council and state health department compliance
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years progressive experience in public health program management
- PH certification or eligible for certification within 6 months
- Expertise in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Experience with CDC and ADHS grant administration
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency preferred
- Knowledge of Title VI and ADA compliance requirements
