Responsibilities
- Design and oversee community health intervention programs targeting chronic disease prevention
- Analyze public health data to identify trends and inform strategic program development
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships with healthcare providers and community organizations
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
- Develop health education materials and deliver community outreach initiatives
- Evaluate program effectiveness using KPIs and prepare impact reports
- Represent the department in public health forums and policy discussions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of program management experience in government/nonprofit sector
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with grant writing and federal program compliance
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders
- Knowledge of Kentucky public health regulations and initiatives
- Valid Kentucky driver's license
