Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and prioritize intervention strategies
- Collaborate with community stakeholders and healthcare providers to coordinate resources
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
- Evaluate program effectiveness using KPIs and prepare comprehensive impact reports
- Train public health staff on best practices and emerging health threats
- Represent the department at community forums and legislative hearings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years experience in public health program management
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Valid Missouri driver's license
- Experience with grant writing and federal funding applications
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and public health reporting requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
