Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting Chicago's underserved communities
- Manage program budgets, reporting requirements, and compliance with state/federal regulations
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and intervention priorities
- Develop grant proposals and secure funding for health initiatives
- Supervise program staff and evaluate performance metrics
- Present findings to stakeholders and advocate for policy recommendations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of program management experience in public health or healthcare
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance requirements
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in health informatics tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Valid Illinois driver's license and ability to travel within Cook County
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- PHR or SPHR certification a plus
