Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and prioritize intervention strategies
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships for emergency response initiatives
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
- Lead community outreach initiatives and stakeholder engagement activities
- Prepare comprehensive reports for legislative bodies and public health committees
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of program management experience in public health
- Michigan Public Health Certification (MPHC) or equivalent
- Proficiency in health data analytics tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and budget management
- Strong crisis communication and emergency response coordination skills
- Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation
