Responsibilities
- Design and oversee population health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and maternal-child health initiatives
- Manage federal/state grant funding (>$2M annually) with rigorous compliance and reporting requirements
- Lead cross-functional teams including epidemiologists, community health workers, and data analysts
- Develop data-driven interventions using GIS mapping and public health surveillance systems
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health threats
- Present program outcomes to city council and community stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (MPH preferred)
- 5+ years public health program management experience with government/nonprofit sector
- Expertise in grant writing and federal compliance (e.g., CDC, HRSA requirements)
- Proficiency in public health data platforms (e.g., Epi-Info, SAS, Tableau)
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience leading community coalitions and multicultural outreach
- Ability to obtain federal security clearance upon hire
