Responsibilities
- Develop and execute evidence-based public health education campaigns targeting vulnerable populations
- Lead epidemiological investigations and surveillance for communicable disease outbreaks
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and response protocols with local healthcare systems
- Analyze health data to identify trends and recommend policy interventions
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Train community health workers and partner organizations on best practices
- Advocate for health equity through culturally competent outreach programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Expertise in epidemiological data analysis and health informatics
- Strong grant writing and budget management skills
- Experience with emergency preparedness and crisis communication
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency required
- Texas driver's license with clean driving record
