Responsibilities
- Conduct epidemiological investigations and disease surveillance to identify health trends and potential outbreaks
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Collaborate with community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies on health initiatives
- Analyze health data to prepare comprehensive reports and inform policy recommendations
- Lead community education campaigns on preventive health measures and disease prevention
- Coordinate emergency response activities during public health crises
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with public health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- Minimum 3 years of public health program implementation experience
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage diverse communities
- Knowledge of Arizona public health regulations and resources
