Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved Houston communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform strategic interventions
- Collaborate with local healthcare providers to improve vaccination and disease surveillance systems
- Develop educational materials and conduct outreach programs for health promotion
- Manage grant funding and budget allocations for public health initiatives
- Coordinate emergency response protocols during public health crises

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Demonstrated experience in grant writing and budget management
- Knowledge of HIPAA, CDC guidelines, and Texas public health regulations
- Valid Texas driver's license
