Responsibilities
- Design and execute community health assessment initiatives to identify emerging public health threats
- Develop evidence-based intervention strategies for chronic disease prevention and health promotion
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform policy recommendations and resource allocation
- Collaborate with community stakeholders to implement culturally competent outreach programs
- Lead health equity initiatives addressing disparities in underserved populations
- Prepare comprehensive reports and grant proposals to secure funding for health programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of public health program implementation experience
- Valid Arizona Public Health Certification (CPH) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in epidemiological data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Demonstrated experience developing health equity frameworks
- Strong grant writing and budget management capabilities
- Excellent cross-cultural communication and stakeholder engagement skills
