Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and prioritize community interventions
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers and community organizations for resource mobilization
- Lead health education workshops and outreach campaigns in underserved Mesa neighborhoods
- Prepare comprehensive reports on program outcomes and recommend policy improvements
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address emerging public health threats
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in community health program implementation
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience working with diverse populations and cultural competency training
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and public health data privacy regulations
- Grant writing and budget management experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation highly desirable
