Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health intervention programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and recommend strategic responses
- Coordinate emergency preparedness activities including vaccination campaigns and disaster response
- Collaborate with community partners to address social determinants of health
- Prepare detailed reports for state health authorities and funders
- Lead health education initiatives for diverse audiences
- Monitor compliance with CDC and Florida Department of Health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of public health program experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible within 6 months
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong grant writing and budget management skills
- Experience with community outreach and stakeholder engagement
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours during public health emergencies
