Responsibilities
- Design and oversee municipal infrastructure projects including roads, drainage systems, and public facilities
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and engineering standards
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and contractor relationships
- Prepare technical reports, permits, and environmental impact assessments
- Coordinate with city departments, contractors, and community stakeholders
- Implement sustainable engineering practices for long-term infrastructure resilience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Tennessee Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 3+ years of infrastructure project management experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, ADA, and TCEQ regulations
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Experience with government procurement processes preferred
