Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections of construction projects to ensure compliance with city codes and blueprints
- Review engineering drawings and specifications for accuracy and feasibility
- Document findings and prepare detailed inspection reports
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and city officials to resolve issues
- Enforce safety regulations and environmental standards
- Manage project documentation and permit compliance
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of construction inspection or public works experience
- Valid Louisiana Public Works Inspector certification
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and local building codes
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
