Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, graders, dump trucks) for infrastructure projects
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and concrete work
- Inspect and maintain city drainage systems to prevent flooding
- Install traffic control devices and ensure job site safety compliance
- Assist in emergency storm response and road repair operations
- Collaborate with engineering teams on public works planning
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License (CDL preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Fort Worth residency required within 90 days of hire
