Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, graders, and dump trucks for infrastructure projects
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, trenching, and material handling
- Maintain public roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems through regular inspections and repairs
- Assist in snow removal and emergency response during severe weather events
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal construction and maintenance projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction, landscaping, or public works
- Valid Class C Nevada driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic equipment operation skills (backhoes, loaders, etc.)
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
