Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on maintenance of roads, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery (saws, jackhammers, etc.) safely
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage projects
- Support park maintenance and green space development
- Collaborate with team leads on daily task prioritization
- Document work progress via remote reporting systems
- Adhere to OSHA and city safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid NC driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic equipment operation experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills for remote coordination
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
