Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate light machinery and hand tools safely (shovels, saws, compactors)
- Assist in road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and park infrastructure projects
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Collaborate with crew members to complete daily assignments efficiently
- Participate in waste management and recycling operations
- Document work progress and report equipment issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Minnesota driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Previous labor/construction experience preferred
