Responsibilities
- Perform heavy equipment operation (excavators, graders, dump trucks) for infrastructure projects
- Execute road repair, sidewalk maintenance, and storm drain system upkeep
- Conduct daily site inspections and safety compliance monitoring
- Operate power tools (jackhammers, saws, pneumatic drills) for construction tasks
- Coordinate material handling and inventory management at project sites
- Document work progress and maintain accurate project records
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement project specifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED required)
- Valid Missouri Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years experience in construction or public works
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and safety protocols
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting skills
