Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for public works projects including road maintenance, park upkeep, and facility repairs
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Conduct site inspections and document work progress using digital reporting systems
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Assist in emergency response efforts during severe weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with heavy equipment operation (backhoes, dump trucks, etc.)
- Basic computer skills for remote administrative tasks
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
