Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including grading, paving, sweeping, and cleaning streets and rights-of-way.
- Assist with snow and ice removal operations during winter storms to ensure public safety.
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery such as dump trucks, front-end loaders, mowers, and pavement breakers.
- Maintain public parks, playgrounds, and green spaces through landscaping and debris removal.
- Collect and dispose of litter, trash, and illegal dumping materials in designated areas.
- Follow all safety protocols, traffic control procedures, and OSHA guidelines.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure readiness.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license (Class C) required; Class B CDL is a strong plus.
- Basic knowledge of construction equipment, tools, or landscaping is preferred.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
