Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery such as graders, rollers, and loaders safely and efficiently.
- Perform general maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and drainage infrastructure.
- Assist with traffic control operations, including flagging duties and signage placement.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and debris from job sites.
- Clear debris and sediment from storm drains and catch basins to prevent flooding.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company operational procedures.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Class C Driverβs License (CDL Class A/B is a strong plus).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working in all weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
