Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of manual labor tasks related to street maintenance, park upkeep, and infrastructure repair.
- Operate and maintain light to medium heavy equipment, including dump trucks, loaders, and pavement breakers.
- Assist in the repair and maintenance of traffic signs, guardrails, and street lighting.
- Remove snow, ice, and debris from streets, sidewalks, and public parking lots during adverse weather conditions.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, safe, and organized in compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Class C Texas Driver's License with a good driving record.
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction or landscaping equipment is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as needed.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all municipal guidelines.
