Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and trenching for utility installations.
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment such as backhoes, rollers, dump trucks, and compactors.
- Assist in traffic control, flagging operations, and maintaining safe work zones.
- Perform street cleaning, snow removal, and debris collection during inclement weather.
- Inspect and maintain public facilities, restrooms, and park areas to ensure high standards.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials and tools at job sites.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Class C Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record is mandatory.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and occasionally during nights or weekends.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, hand signals, and safety equipment.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
