Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, dump trucks) for construction and maintenance projects
- Perform street repairs, snow removal, and seasonal park maintenance
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and municipal regulations
- Assist in emergency response during severe weather events
- Maintain accurate records of work activities and equipment usage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver's License (Class B) with airbrake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years of construction or public works experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and heavy equipment operation
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
