Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including digging, grading, and hauling materials for road and park maintenance projects.
- Operate and maintain light to medium construction equipment, such as skid steers, rollers, and dump trucks.
- Set up and monitor traffic control devices (cones, signs, flagging) to ensure worker and public safety.
- Assist in snow removal and ice control operations during winter months.
- Inspect work sites for safety hazards and report any issues to the Site Supervisor immediately.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical ability to perform strenuous outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety protocols is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
