Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including digging, loading, and hauling construction materials.
- Assist in the paving, patching, and repair of roads, sidewalks, and curbs.
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Remove debris, snow, and ice from public walkways and roadways during inclement weather.
- Set up and take down traffic control signage, barriers, and cones to ensure worker safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in strict compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with crew leads and other team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safety protocols is a plus.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately and pay close attention to detail.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible to work in the United States.
