Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks, including excavation, grading, and general site preparation.
- Assist in traffic control and flagging duties to ensure the safety of crew members and the public.
- Maintain and clean job sites by removing debris, waste, and loose materials.
- Operate heavy machinery and construction equipment, such as skid steers, rollers, and compressors, under supervision.
- Prepare surfaces for concrete pouring and asphalt application to ensure structural integrity.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines strictly at all times.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members regarding project progress and needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety equipment.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a cohesive team.
- Experience with heavy equipment is a plus but not required.
