Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including digging, grading, and operating light equipment such as skid steers and backhoes.
- Assist in street maintenance, including pothole repair and pavement marking.
- Maintain public parks, greenways, and right-of-way areas by mowing, weeding, and trimming.
- Collect and dispose of trash and debris from public works sites.
- Assist with snow and ice removal during winter months to ensure public safety.
- Load and unload materials and tools at job sites.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and machinery is a plus.
- Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the US.
