Responsibilities
- Perform general manual labor including sweeping, cleaning, and maintaining public streets and right-of-way.
- Assist in road maintenance tasks, including pothole repair, paving, and asphalt work under supervision.
- Operate light to medium heavy equipment such as rollers, sweepers, and jackhammers (training provided).
- Set up and maintain traffic control devices and flagging operations to ensure safety on job sites.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and supplies from trucks and vans.
- Assist with snow removal duties during winter months (if applicable).
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations on the job site.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required.
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction or maintenance equipment is a plus.
- Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
