What You Will Do
As a key member of our team, you will:
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy and manual labor including grading, excavating, and backfilling.
- Operate and maintain a variety of heavy equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of public infrastructure such as sidewalks, curbs, and storm drains.
- Maintain public parks, green spaces, and recreational facilities to ensure community safety and aesthetic appeal.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and city protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and project timelines.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
- Basic knowledge of construction or landscaping practices is a plus.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
