Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including sweeping, raking, and cleaning streets and public parks.
- Assist in snow and ice removal operations during winter months to ensure public safety.
- Operate and maintain basic landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers and trimmers.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and debris for crews.
- Assist with pothole repair, paving, and other street maintenance projects.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic control procedures while working on public roads.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Previous experience in public works, construction, or landscaping is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of safety regulations and traffic control signs.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
