Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and hauling materials.
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery and equipment such as dump trucks, rollers, and skid steers.
- Assist with road maintenance, including pothole repair, striping, and snow removal.
- Ensure all work sites are clean, safe, and free of hazards at the end of the shift.
- Load and unload construction materials and debris from trucks.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations strictly.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus but not always required for entry-level.
- Ability to perform physical labor in all weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety equipment.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends during emergencies.
