Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, landscaping, and debris removal
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, power tools) under supervision
- Assist in roadway maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and storm drain clearing
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and wear required PPE
- Participate in emergency response operations during weather events
- Maintain accurate work logs and complete daily task reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public improvement projects
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C or higher)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic math skills for measurement calculations
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
- Clean criminal background check required
