Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor duties including digging, hauling, and cleaning public areas and roadways.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of sidewalks, curbs, and streets.
- Operate and maintain light to medium construction equipment and tools (e.g., jackhammers, rollers, dump trucks).
- Assist in traffic control and flagging operations to ensure worker and public safety.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and debris from trucks.
- Follow all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines while on-site.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and other crew members to complete projects on time.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or public works is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures.
- Must be willing to work in various weather conditions.
