Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on public roadways, sidewalks, and infrastructure projects.
- Assist in pavement marking, patching, and cleaning of public streets.
- Operate light equipment such as rollers, compactors, and dump trucks under supervision.
- Set up and maintain traffic control devices and signage to ensure crew and public safety.
- Load and unload construction materials and tools efficiently.
- Collaborate with crew leads to complete projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols (OSHA) is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.
