Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance, cleaning, and repair of streets, sidewalks, and public parks.
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery, including dump trucks, loaders, and snowplows.
- Assist in snow removal, ice control, and de-icing operations during winter months.
- Set up and monitor traffic control devices, including cones, signs, and flagging.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work sites comply with OSHA safety standards and local municipal codes.
- Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to execute project specifications accurately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a strong plus.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in various weather conditions.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or public works is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols and procedures.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
