Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials and equipment.
- Assist in the repair and maintenance of city streets, sidewalks, and public parks.
- Operate light construction equipment and hand tools under supervision.
- Participate in snow and ice removal operations during inclement weather.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Clear debris, litter, and obstructions from public rights-of-way.
- Communicate effectively with crew leads and other team members to ensure project efficiency.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to perform physical labor including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Valid driver’s license (clean driving record preferred).
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus but not required.
