Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including sweeping, raking, shoveling, and cleaning public right-of-ways.
- Assist with traffic control duties, including flagging and directing vehicular traffic.
- Operate light equipment and hand tools (such as brooms, shovels, and loppers) under supervision.
- Load and unload construction materials, debris, and tools from trucks and onto job sites.
- Assist with landscaping, graffiti removal, and maintenance of parks and street furniture.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid California Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat and rain.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills for safety instructions.
